Comments:
As a boy I grew up on a bike. A few months ago after open heart surgery I decided to starting riding again. I had to relearn and the Electra Cruiser was perfect! I enjoy riding dirt/light gravel country roads; also some pavement. I live in the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains so we have some pretty good hills, this is not a mountain bike ( I am looking at the Electra Moto i3 bike for this ) so I had my local bike shop install some front breaks. The Coaster breaks are perfect for level riding with some inclines/declines; please use common since! I can ride up some pretty good hills ( given a good decline power boost) on a fair incline with this single speed; this gives me a good feeling and if I don't make some I do a little better on the next ride. I have had a 3 speed internal hub installed at the local bike shop and I know that I will be able to top some of these hills. The bike weight is fine for me, I am 72 and not into working out,I use a bike carrier a lot. The Cruiser is no trouble loading and unloading form the carrier. There is something about this bike that reminds me of the bike that I had as a boy!

Comments:
My cruiser is the most fun to ride bike I've ever owned, and it has not given me any trouble at all. Every previous bike I've had ended up not able to shift or with squishy brakes. With the cruiser you get on and go and it's always fun. My favorite thing about riding my cruiser is the smiles and waves I get from other people out and about. I bet they can tell I'm having a good time!

Comments:
Great bike for cruising! I use it to ride the canal and around old town. Perfect for Sunday-Fundays! Bike is heavy, and not really geared to go fast, which makes you ride slow and enjoy the day. I've crashed this bike several times (too many beers) and besides a few scratches, still rides great!
